Next, know the official sites. For Aion the only official sites are http://www.aiononline.com and http://www.ncsoft.com, if you get a tell in game or email asking you to go to any site other than those two just ignore it.

Browsing safely is also important, even larger fansites like aionsource have been flagged lately for hosting malicious ads. An easy way to make sure you're surfing safely is to run Firefox, and download the Adblock Plus and NoScript addons. Chrome sure is sexy, and I like it a lot, but firefox and those two addons make for a pretty damn bulletproof browser.
